Kom igång med graduarbetet, arbeta på doktorsavhandlingen eller skriv färdigt din kandidatavhandling på Språkcentrets skrivretreat i november! Vi samlas under en vecka för att helt enkelt skriva tillsammans i Arken. Språkhjälp på både svenska och engelska finns tillgänglig, och du har dessutom möjlighet till ett individuellt samtal med en lärare i kommunikation eller engelska om ditt skrivande. Studerande kan nu använda HAKA log-in för att identifiera sin studerandestatus till Föli!
Om du bor i Åbo och vill få studeranderabatt på lokaltrafiken så kan du nu använda dig av HAKA log in för att identifiera din studerandestatus till Föli. Innan du gör det, kom ihåg att kontrollera att du har information om boenden kommun i dina kontaktuppgifter i peppi. Vi rekommenderar att du lägger in kommun både på studieorten och på din hemort. En kväll till minne av Kristallnatten – 7.11
Torsdagen den 7.11 ordnas en vandring, minnesstund och föreläsning till minne av Kristallnatten (1938) och de åtta till Gestapo överlämnade judarna (1942). Vandringen går från Theologicum (Biskopsgatan 16, Åbo) till snubbelstenen vid Vårdbergsgatan 1. Övrig information finns på intrat. |

Öppna universitetets kurser är avgiftsfria för närvaroanmälda examensstuderande och utbytesstuderande vid Åbo Akademi. Om kursen ordnas av en av Öpus samarbetsparter, betalar man samarbetsparternas kursavgifter. Bekanta dig med kursutbudet här. Anmälan gör du via Peppi.

Utställningen ”Orglar, kanteler och lite sci-fi – J. Pohjanmies” i Sibeliusmuseum
Utställningen presenterar den finske instrumentuppfinnaren och kompositören Juhani Pohjanmies (1893–1959). Pohjanmies skapade närmare 30 instrument, inklusive den innovativa pianokantelen. Han var även pionjär inom att koppla elektricitet till musikinstrument. Museibesökarna får möjlighet att prova några av hans uppfinningar och fördjupa sig i hans teosofiskt influerade värld. Students can now use the HAKA log-in to identify their student status to Föli!
If you live in Turku and want to get a student discount on public transport, you can now use HAKA log-in to identify your student status to Föli. Before you do that, remember to check that you have information about municipality in your contact information in peppi. We recommend that you enter the municipality for both address fields. You can easily change the information yourself under contact information in your profile in peppi. Read more about identify student status at Föli.

An evening In commemoration of Kristallnacht (1938) – 7.11
On Thursday 7 November, a walk, memorial ceremony and lecture will be organised in memory of Kristallnacht (1938) and the eight deported Jews (1942). The walk goes from Theologicum (Biskopsgatan 16, Åbo) to Stolperstein at Vårdbergsgatan 1. Further details can be found on the intranet. |

The exhibition “Pipe organs, kanteles and some sci-fi – J. Pohjanmies” in the Sibelius Museum
The exhibition presents the versatile lifework of the instrument inventor, organ designer and composer Juhani Pohjanmies (1893–1959). He invented and built circa 30 new instruments and, of those, about 50 different models. The instruments range from simple iron wire solutions to electrically amplified keyboards. The visitor gets, of course, to listen to music composed by Pohjanmies. The exhibition offers a general view over the astonishingly productive, rather unknown life of Pohjanmies.
